Sound reproduction possible for up to 2 hours <Sound>
The minimum chassis size with built-in I/O (8 input points and 6 output
points) is W53.5 x H85 mm. The SJ series has a card-size lightweight body
but enables full control by itself. It can meet a variety of requests such as use
with compact devices, building auxiliary systems that emphasize mobility,
and low-cost capital investment. Since many add-on units can be connected
to the limited installation space, it can flexibly respond to future expansion.
There are five kinds of usable bit rates of audio data. Systems can be built
to requirements ranging from an emphasis on sound quality to long-term
reproduction.

Process Control
The drive power is standard. A 24 V power source used for current
devices can be used as is, and there is no need to separately prepare a
dedicated power supply unit. Of course, in accordance with connections
and configurations of various extension units, operation with the addition of
expanded power supply modules is freely possible.

PID control is a loop-back mechanism for freely controlling analog data
such as temperature, humidity, pressure, and flow rate. Therefore, the SJ

can be realized in machines to enhance the added value of manufacturing
equipment.

Numerous audio data is available. <Sound>
Voice comments such as "Thank you" and "Please be careful", order
vocabularies such as "first, second ..." and "line 1, line 2... ", and
onomatopoeia such as "ping-pong" and "boo" are included in the standard
comment collection. Customers can create optimal sound guidance by
combining the prepared sound sources.

The main body is equipped with analog I/O. <Analog>
Analog signal-handling equipment is directly connected to the I/O built into
the main body. Since coordinated control of analog / digital signals is possible
by the product alone, it can achieve the targeted control content using a
minimum number of modules.
Up to 128 kinds of audio data can be registered and
controlled. <Sound>
Using the data conversion software dedicated to the sound type of KOSTAC
SJ, the SJ series can easily create and edit dedicated sound source data
from sound source files in "WAV format" used normally in Windows®. Voice
sound sources can be freely selected and combined using the program of the
PLC.

<Sound>
The SJ series has a power amplifier built into the CPU. Sound can be played
back through speakers when connected to it. Equipped with sound volume
adjustment functions, it can be operated using the volume of the main body
and PLC programs. A low-power-consumption mode when it produces no
sound is also available.

audio files of Windows®.
The dedicated format that emphasizes file management security and
reliability is used for the audio file data of the sound type of KOSTAC SJ. To
create and manage data, you can use Koyo Electronics' original audio data
creation tool developed for the KOSTAC SJ.

You can easily and quickly create audio data dedicated to the KOSTAC SJ
from the standard "WAV" audio files of Windows® computers.
- The screen can be intuitively used.
It uses an easy-to-see and easy-to-understand screen design used for
spreadsheet software. You can immediately call up necessary functions
from the icons.
- Voice conversion method can be selected from five kinds.
According to the environment, you can create five kinds of audio data with,
for example, an emphasis on high-quality sound, long-term reproduction,
or economized file sizes.
- Worksheets divided into 4 parts
You can divide the comments into 4 parts, so for the maximum 128, it
means 32 comments per page. Just the sound source of the page that
