My name is Ashley Hicks and I am the
Assistant to the Dean for Student Services in
the College of Business. I am excited to
connect with you as I serve as the faculty
mentor for the Business Themed Living
Learning Community. I always appreciate the
opportunity to meet new students and be
involved with their growth and success, and
what better way to do that than to work with
you all on Manchester 16!
My educational background includes a
Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State
University and a Master’s degree from Ball
State University. I’m also currently enrolled
as a part-time student in the Ph.D. program in Higher Education Administration at
ISU. I’ve been working at Illinois State since 2010 and I’ve really enjoyed my time
as a Redbird.
When I’m not at work or doing homework, I enjoy calming my mind and spirit by
practicing yoga 2-3 times a week. I also love to travel. Any opportunity I get to
take a beach vacation or go to Vegas, I’m there!
Additionally, I enjoy great food, great company, and great weather! I currently
reside in Bloomington with my loving husband Justin.
