Sermon: Pit, Potiphar, Prison and the Palace (The Mystery of the 4p’s)

Prayers
 Glory killers of my father’s house be buried alive now in the name of Jesus
 Enemies of my father’s house selling me out to the outside enemies be paralysed in the name of Jesus

In Isaiah 61 vs. 1- 3, in accordance to the Bible passage, I bring good news to the broken hearted, the heavy
laden --------- for the next 4 weeks we shall be looking at what is titled the mystery of the 4p’s ( pit, Potiphar,
the prison and the palace). In Numbers 23 vs. 19, the bible says God is not a man that he should lie, nor a son
of man that he should change his mind; does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfil? Also
in Isaiah 55 vs. 8- 11, meaning every words spoken by God through the scriptures, word of knowledge or
prophesies shall surely come to pass.
In Genesis 37, we saw a 17 year old boy full of life and promises but something went wrong, a word from God
changed the course of his destiny, the vision about his future sent him on a journey to the pit. For every word
and promises of God; there are prices to pay for the fulfilment and the prices are divided into two parts,
namely the pit, (which is the enemies of your father’s house Matthew 10 vs. 36) The enemies of your father’s
house would be the first to oppose your destiny, after succeeding they would now sell the person to the
enemies outside (which is the prison) the transitional period between the pit and the prison is the time when a
believers after praying so hard finds some relieves and start singing all is well, now the battle is over, but
forgetting the fact that the battle is still not over, you have not yet reached the final destination. Sadly many
believers have settled down in Potiphar’s house and have stopped moving to the prison (which is the last stage
of getting to the palace) the end result of staying in Potiphar’s house and accepting Potiphar’s wife offer will
eventually lead to death, this is where many believers are, they have accepted evil offers and have lost their
destiny, they have accepted evil love as Samson accepted it from Delilah and lost his glory. After completing
the prison term, then you move to the palace.
The genesis of most problems originates from the dream of a man, the dream can be the goals, plans, destiny,
real dreams about something, a good example is honey, placed or hidden irrespective of the location, the ants
will locate it, same with someone of a colourful dreams, destiny etc.

A place of restricted movement,
A place where people of destiny begins their Journey
A place where you are deserted and sold out by your family members
A place of no help

Potiphar (Week 2)
Genesis 39 verse 1-18
The Potiphar’s house is what is termed as
 A fake destination
 Evil comfort zone
 A place of deceit
 A place where destinies are either made or destroyed
 A place of fear and torments
 A place of evil exchange of destiny
 A place of evil offer in place of God’s promises
What is a prison? (Week 3)
Genesis 39 verse 19- 23
 A prison is a place where movements are restricted
 A place where destinies and opportunities are locked up
 A place where every prisoners are fighting for survival
 A place where destinies are either made or defeated

Genesis 41 verse 1- end
(Verse 46 Joseph was thirty years when he entered into his destination)
 A place prepared by God for his children
 A place where you are called by a new name Isaiah 62 vs. 2, Esther the orphan was called by a new
name a queen
 It is a place of honour, power, fulfilment and joy
 A place of new life, Lazarus was delivered from the prison of Death and Jesus gave him a new life
 A place where you become the joy of many generations. Prayer----------------------------I pray for someone here today who is currently imprisoned, that the prison door shall be broken and you shall
possess your palace in Jesus name………………

PRAYERS
1. Every power that has vowed to abort my divine destiny fail woefully in Jesus name
2. You garment of the prison upon my destiny be roasted by fire in Jesus name
3. Powers of my father’s house responsible for my problems I transfer the problems unto you in Jesus
name
4. Pit spirit release me and scatter in the name of Jesus
5. Lord send your helpers to rescue me from the pit of the enemies in the name of Jesus
6. I shall not die in the pit but my enemies shall die therein in the name of Jesus
7. Adulterous woman placed on my way to derail my destiny be disgraced in the name of Jesus
8. Strange women planning to harvest me be destroyed now in the name of Jesus
9. Lord favour me in the prison where the enemies have put me in the name of Jesus
10. Lord Jesus hand over the affairs of the enemies to me in the name of Jesus
11. Father Lord cause the enemies of my soul to bow before me and my generation in the name of Jesus
12. I refused to be in Potiphar’s house forever in the name of Jesus
13. Lord Jesus release and deliver me from the evil anointing of Potiphar’s wife in the name of Jesus
14. My father put Potiphar’s wife under my feet in the name of Jesus
15. Lord Jesus put the whole land of the enemies under my control in the name of Jesus
16. The enemies shall not decide my destiny I shall decide their future and destiny in the name of Jesus
17. Father Lord visit my helpers with strange dreams that only me will have the answers in the name of
Jesus
18. Father Lord visit the Land where I’m with mystery that only me will be able to decode in the name of
Jesus
19. I decree in the name of Jesus that my prison days are over in the name of Jesus
20. I thank you Lord for taking me and my generation to the palace in the name of Jesus
