Sub-Project Apollo
Sub-Project Hermes
Review of policies and practices on access to and reuse of
spatial PSI, including legal and practical implications for
online delivery and related services, leading to
recommendations for access and information licensing
policies and practices in Australia.
Examination of economic issues per tinent to
information policy implementation and objectives,
resulting in recommended information pricing policies.
A review of the literature on policy, practice and law
relating to access to and reuse of PSI has been completed
and covers all Australian States and Territories, New
Zealand, the United Kingdom and Europe, the United
States and other relevant jurisdictions.
Sub-Project Demeter
Development and implementation of a working
demonstrator of digital licence management software that
can be applied in Queensland and Western Australian
Government case studies.
Work progressed with ABS on the development of the
digital licence management software. Collaboration with
Creative Commons USA has progressed.
Hermes is near completion. This work includes a review
of socio-economic impacts of open access policies
and proposes factors that distinguish between private
and public sector information production.

Investigation of the legislative, regulatory
technological environments impacting on
collection, use and dissemination of information

technological innovations.
