A Prayer for Mothers
All-loving God,
We give you thanks and praise
for mothers young and old.
We pray for young mothers,
who give life and count toes and tend to our every
need; May they be blessed with patience
and tenderness to care for their families and
themselves with great joy.
We pray for our own mothers who have nurtured
and cared for us; May they continue to guide
in strong and gentle ways.
We remember mothers who are separated from
their children because of war, poverty, or con lict;
May they feel the loving embrace of our God who
wipes every tear away.
We pray for women who are not mothers
but still love and shape us with motherly care
and compassion.
We remember mothers, grandmothers, and
great-grandmothers who are no longer with us
but who live forever in our memory and
nourish us with their love.
Amen.

Personal Evangelization Course
How to Be a More Effective Witness to Your Faith
Wednesdays from 7 – 8:30 PM
starting August 2 – 30 in Rooms A & B
Talking about faith with friends and family members
can be intimidating. What do you say if they have
questions you can't answer or if they're outright hostile
toward God?
In this 5 week course, veteran apologist Don Johnson
provides a natural, relational approach to
conversational evangelism that will help you avoid all
the common roadblocks to effective outreach. You will
also learn how to ask the right questions, tell God's
story in a winsome way, and use common experiences
to build a case for the truth of Jesus.

V DOMINGO DE PASCUA AÑO A
PRIMERA LECTURA HECHOS 6, 1-7
SEGUNDA LECTURA 1ª DE PEDRO 2, 4-9
EVANGELIO JUAN 10, 1-12
Dios, podrán ver a Dios cara a cara.
Si me

Amen

Exodus
Mondays from 7 – 9 PM
starting Monday, June 5 in Rooms A & B
Do you want to experience
true freedom? Have you
ever wondered what
freedom means, and how to
find it? Exodus is often
seen as the defining
moment in Israel’s history,
when God called Israel out
of slavery in Egypt to freedom. The story of Exodus isn’t
only Israel’s story, however - it’s also our story. Exodus:
Called to Freedom looks through the lens of Christ and
the Church to show how God ultimately desired to free
us from the deadly grip of sin so that we could have
authentic freedom.
Join us for Exodus: Called to Freedom for 10 weeks
starting June 5. For more information or to register for
the study, call Patty Ledezma at 714-842-3000 x25 or via
email: [email protected].
Acts
Thursdays from 7 – 9 PM
starting June 1 in Rooms A & B.
The Acts of the Apostles
provides us more than a history of
the First Christians - it is the story
about the Early Church with the
Holy Spirit as the protagonist. Christ
did not leave His Apostles
alone - He sent the Holy Spirit to
guide, instruct and equip them. Enrich and deepen your
faith as you learn how the Apostles continued Christ’s
mission on earth through the Power of the Holy Spirit.
Join us for Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom for 20
weeks starting June 1. For more information or to
register for the study, call Patty Ledezma at 714-8423000 x25 or via email: [email protected].
