April 28th will be allowed to attend the “Neverland” Prom, as space allows. *(Some exceptions
may apply.)* No walk-ins. No exceptions. Couples or dates are not required. No Grand March.
“Neverland” Prom attendees are not allowed to leave and return to the Prom at any
time during the evening.
Cost: $53/person if Registered and Paid by April 19, 2017
$63/person if Registered and Paid between the April 20 – April 28 Deadline
• The entry fee includes use of the golf course and gardens for photos (please be respectful of the
golfers), ballroom, fine dinner, DJ, dance, door prizes, dessert, pop, ice water, coffee,
Coat/Purse/Backpack/Bag Check, and some security. There is no reduced pricing available
for teens who choose not to partake in any portion of the evening.
Code of Conduct/Dress Code: The “Neverland” 2017 Homeschool Prom Committee is making
every effort to ensure a wonderful and safe evening for all in attendance. There will be chaperones and
select security throughout the evening. By signing the “Neverland” 2017 Homeschool Prom Registration
Agreement, parents and teens agree to abide by the Prom Code of Conduct/Dress Code and agree not to
hold “Neverland” 2017 Homeschool Prom Committee, organizers, chaperones, Dellwood Country Club,
facility employees, photographer, or professional DJ responsible for attendee’s conduct or that of anyone
else in attendance at the Prom.
1. Attendees must appear at the Prom by 7:00 p.m. or parents/guardians will be called.
2. Attire: Formal. Corsages or boutonnières are optional.
Young ladies: Dresses – 2 inches above the knee or longer, no cleavage, no bare midriffs or 2piece dresses, and no backs bare below the waist. Practice dancing in your dress to make sure
everything stays in place. If not, pin it to your bra, add dress tape, tighten straps, wear a shawl all
evening, etc. Please be respectful of the other Prom attendees who do NOT want to look at uncovered
chests bouncing on the dance floor all night. Young men avoid Prom every year due to this problem
alone.
Parents: Strapless dresses look nice in pictures, but they do not always stay in place while dancing
and playing party games. Make sure your daughter’s dress stays in place or make changes.
Young men: Suits, Tuxedos, or Dress Shirts/Dress Pants. Wear a tie, belt, and dress shoes.
3. Code of Conduct: We expect proper behavior at all times. It goes without saying, but no smoking,
alcohol, drugs, weapons, or intoxication is allowed. No inappropriate language, including swearing,
vulgarities, name calling, belittling, bullying, bathroom humor, etc. No inappropriate physical
contact with others, including kissing, sitting on laps, provocative dancing, pushing others on the
dance floor, etc. Chaperones/Security reserve the right to remove and send home any attendee if
their attire, speech, and/or behavior is deemed inappropriate. Parents will be notified if attendee
needs a ride. If illegal activity occurs, proper authorities will be summoned. “Neverland” Prom
attendees are not allowed to leave and return to the dance. No back packs or bags are
allowed inside the Prom. Coat/Bag Check is available; bags may be taken to the rest rooms then
returned to the Coat/Bag Check. The safety and security of anything or anyone cannot be guaranteed
by anyone at any time though we will do our very best to keep everyone safe.

The Evening of Prom:
• Attendees are welcome to arrive any time after 3:00 p.m. Check-in is required by 5:00 p.m.
• Photos: Friends and families may take photos outside and inside Dellwood Country Club from 3:00
– 4:30 p.m. Prom attendees may take photos all night long. We may have a professional
photographer available for hire to take individual and group photos. However, advanced reservations
are required for time with the professional photographer due to the short window of opportunity
outside. The photographer may be able to take reservations for pictures in the Ballroom as well.
Photographer, costs, and package information will be included with your Prom Confirmation email.
• Everyone not Pre-Registered for the Prom, including parents and guardians, must leave Dellwood
Country Club by 4:30 p.m. Dellwood does not have an area for parents or family members to wait
during the Prom. It is a private club; club facilities are for member use only. It is a privilege to be able
to host our Prom at the country club, and we must follow their rules.
• Only Pre-Registered Teens and Pre-Approved Chaperones will be allowed past
the Security Check-In Area after 4:30 p.m. No exceptions. We are making every effort
to provide the most secure event possible for all teens in attendance. Parents who require contact
with their teen can request their teen at the Security Check-In Area, and the teen will be summoned
from the Ballroom. No Exceptions.
• Dinner/Seating: Prom attendees will have formal, assigned seating at dinner to ensure
friends/dates traveling together are able to be seated at the same table. Attendees are encouraged to
submit seating requests at the time of the Prom Registration. The Prom Committee will make every
effort to seat friends together. But remember, dinner is only part of the whole evening.
Registration Agreement: Must include:
1. Parent/guardian phone number/emergency contact number for the night of Prom
2. Teen’s contact information
3. List of friends invited with the approval of parents. Friends must submit their own
Registrations. Prom Committee will follow up with friends to ensure registration.
4. Signatures of teen and parent/guardian agreeing to the prom conduct and dress code.
5. Fee must be paid for teen to be placed on the guest list. Space is limited, so don’t delay.
6. Homeschooled teens and their guests 18 and over still need to provide
parent/guardian: Signatures, Approval of Guests, and Emergency Contact Information
for the night of the Prom. Homeschooled teens are still considered students under
parental purview.
• Fees are nonrefundable.
• The “Neverland” 2017 Homeschool Prom Committee reserves the right to refuse to accept the
Registration of any person without a reason given. In the event this happens, the registration fee will
be returned.
Music: The “Neverland” 2017 Homeschool Prom attendees may request songs for the dance at the time
of Registration and payment. We will not accept requests the night of the Prom to avoid the risk of
accidentally playing songs with inappropriate song lyrics.
