When the human
heart is burdened and
heavy with guilt,
God’s desire is to give
us a new heart
through the grace of
conversion. With the
help of the Spirit,
we are given the
strength to seek and
trust God’s merciful
forgiveness so that we
might have a fresh

St. Clare’s 2014 Christmas Bazaar is fast approaching! This
year’s date is December 6th from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
What is your Christmas Bazaar monies used for? The
funds raised at the Bazaar are used for improvements in the
Hall. A complete list of these improvements would take several written pages. Thank you all parishioners for your contributions.
Silent auction theme baskets are always appreciated. Fresh
homemade baked goods, cookies, pies, cakes, breads and craft
items are great sellers.
For the white elephant sale, please consider new or nearly
new items that can be wrapped up and given as gifts. Think of
it as re-gifting a really good item.
Completed items for the Bazaar and white elephant may
be brought to the Hall any day during the week before the
bazaar (November 30 through December 5).
Thanks for your help and contributions to this important, fun,
all-parish event!!

Marco 25: 1-13

prevent you from attending. Therefore, limited scholarships

Berea Food Bank Letter from Jerry Workman
Thank you! We received your generous $200.00 donation to the
Berea Food Bank on October 6, 2014, and it means the world to us.
We are thrilled to have yet another gift from you in 2014. You are
so kind to remember our organization.
As you know, the recent economic situation has placed more
families than ever in need of assistance. In 2013, the Berea Food
Bank was able to serve over 677 individuals and families. The
estimated value of that assistance was $248,000. Over 99% of financial contributions are used to purchase food to distribute to
those families in need. It was an amazing year of giving for the
Berea Food Bank , an entirely volunteer organization.
Frankly we could not do what we do without your support.
The families of Berea in need join me in thanking you for your
generous gifts to the Berea Food Bank We are so lucky to have
you as donor.

A Service of Remembrance
The Holidays, perhaps especially Thanksgiving and Christmas, can be
very difficult when we are in mourning, or when we are missing
someone whom we have loved deeply who is no longer physically
with us.
To remember them and celebrate their lives, as well as to provide
comfort at this time of the year, there will be An Evening Service of
Remembrance held on November 18th at 7:00 p.m. at St. Clare
Church.
There will be music, a candle lighting ritual, readings, and some
time for possible sharing. If you wish and are able, please bring some
small memento or picture of those you wish to remember.
If you have any questions, please e-mail Peggy Patrick:
[email protected].
