1. Pineville will announce first sit down family restaurant chain with booze
2. 28 West will see two quick serve restaurants.
3. Tax laws for Real Estate will change possibilities include following:
Eliminate deduction for property taxes
Increase standard deduction which will reduce number of itemized fillings
Eliminate loan interest deductions for business use
Eliminate cost recovery 27.5 years for residential and 39 years for commercial.
100% purchase deductible minus land allocation.
4. Dresser Plant will be re-used or demolished by year end.
5. Zero new hotels will be under construction by year end
6. Interest rates will approach 6% for 30 fix mortgages
7. Alexandria downtown will continue to “awake up” residential planning if not rehab
under way.
8. Trampoline World is coming
9. Hastings / Hancock Fabric buildings will have new tenants
10. Big Lots will be vacant at year end.

Hello Dave, this message is for Rod Noles. I had heard him talk about lots being sold in the High Cotton
subdivision recently, but then he says he doesn't know where that is exactly. Well, on a Xmas Day drive
this week, I stumbled upon it- it's right off Hwy 107 in the Kolin area, about 1/4 mile before the
intersection with Denny Road (if coming from Pineville) There is one house under construction, and one
other concrete foundation poured in another lot. Please pass this info on, thanks!
