Paris, Texas – Twenty seniors at North Lamar High School will graduate as the 2017
Honor Graduates. Top of North Lamar’s graduating class is Valedictorian Takeyah
Griffin and Salutatorian Rael Memnon. Honor Graduates are Sam Asay, Paul Bayer, Tyler Biard, Kevin Dawson, Kay
Edwards, Peyton Fleming, Brock Garrison, Steele Musgrove, Nicholas Noble,
Haley Porter, Ty Rast, Erin Scholl, Kylee Scudder, Jake Stewart, Arden Stone,
Jordan Walters, Ty Waggoner and Taylor White. A breakfast honoring the students
will be on Friday, May 19, at 7:00 a.m. at Paris Church of God. Wearing their caps and gowns, seniors will walk the hallways at each campus on
the Panther Success Walk on May 16 followed by the Senior Slide Show at the high
school. A Baccalaureate celebration to honor all graduating seniors from North Lamar
will be Wednesday, May 24, at 6:00 p.m. in the NLHS auditorium. Graduation practice
will be Friday, May 26, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at R. L. Maddox Stadium, and Graduation
will be Saturday, May 27, at 7:00 p.m. at the stadium. XXX
