Locational knowledge Year 1 will identify the four locations of surviving copies of the Magna Carta including Salisbury. We shall look at events beyond living memory that are significant; Magna Carta 1215. Year 1 will also consider the lives of significant individuals in the past who have contributed to national and international achievements e.g. King John. Children will study local history through our trip to Salisbury Cathedral.
