Working Bulletin 09.04.16

We should make every effort to walk in the
presence of God, to see God in all the persons we
meet, to live our prayer throughout the day.

A Message of Gratitude and Hope
We have several yellow sticky
notes around the office
reminding us of all of the news
that to share! We hope you
won’t mind us squeezing some
of them into this column.
Last weekend was a remarkable
one for our collaborative! On
Friday, it took Fr. Souza, Fr.
Steve and two other priests an
hour and a half to hear
Confessions at St. Monica’s.
God’s mercy was truly alive!
On Saturday, many of us
participated in a pilgrimage to
the Cathedral where we
celebrated Mass and walked
through the Holy Door of
Mercy. Afterwards, we enjoyed
a lunch together at St. Peter’s.
On Sunday, we had a delicious
and festive celebration of the
Feasts of St. Monica and St.
Augustine! A big thank you to
Maria, Carlos, Ann-Marie,
Gloria, Daiva, the Sons of St.
Augustine and everyone who
made this wonderful weekend
celebration of mercy possible.
It is “Back to School” time!
Children and their families are
invited to a Back to School
Breakfast and Blessing at 9 a.m.
on Saturday, 9/10 at St. Peter’s.
As a new year begins we pray
that all of the children, teens,
and young adults will enjoy a
health, peace, and academic
growth. We pray, too, that
students, parents, teachers, and
administrators will work
together to create environments
where everyone is treated with
kindness and respect.
Next weekend marks the 15year anniversary of September
11, 2001. We remember in
prayer those who perished and
those whose lives were forever
changed by the terror of that
day. Our Good Samaritan
Ministry offers a Mass for
Peace, Healing, and Justice on
Sunday, 9/11, at 7:00 p.m. at
the Chapel of Our Lady of Good
Voyage. After the Mass we will
have a candlelight procession
from to the Massachusetts
Fallen Heroes Memorial.
Please join us as we pray for
healing and peace.

colaborativo. El viernes, les
lleva más de una hora y media
para Padre Steve, Padre Gerry,
Padre Mario, y otro sacerdote
oír las confesiones de los fieles.
¡La misericordia de Dios estuvo
viva! El sábado, muchos
hicimos una peregrinación
hacia la catedral y entramos por
la Santa Puerta de Misericordia
y celebramos la Misa. Después
nos gozamos de un almuerzo
grande. El domingo, fiesteamos
y almorzamos para las fiestas
de Sta. Mónica y San Agustín.
Muchísimas gracias a Maria,
Carlos, Ann-Marie, Gloria,
Daiva, los Hijos de San Agustín
y todos que hicieron posible
esta celebración fenomenal de
la Misericordia de Dios.
Llegamos al tiempo de
“Regresar a la Escuela”. Les
invitamos a todos los niños y
jóvenes de la comunidad, y sus
familias para un Desayuno y
Bendición a las 9:00am Sábado
10 de septiembre en Iglesia San
Pedro. Rezamos que todos los
estudiantes se aprovechan de
un año de salud, paz, y
crecimiento académico.
También rezamos para la
creación de ambientes donde
todos se sienten el seguro y el
respeto.
El fin de semana que viene,
recordamos el aniversario
decimoquinto del 11 de
septiembre, 2001.

Meet Fr. Paco—
Bringing Together the Parish Family
Good news.
Good works.
Good faith.
Boston Priests.
There for us.
At Saint Stephen Parish in Framingham, the lively
multicultural community with a strong Hispanic
presence has become an extension of Fr. Francisco
“Paco” Anzoategui’s family. “We may speak different
languages and have different traditions, but we are
not two separate communities,” said Fr. Paco. “We
are one family of believers with the same faith, and
we are united in a wonderful bond that we call our
spiritual family.”
To help ensure a continuum of care for Fr. Paco
and all our devoted priests who faithfully serve our
Catholic family please support the special
collection on September 17-18.
