Fatima Novena Prayer
O Most Holy Virgin Mary, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, you were
pleased to appear to the children of Fatima and reveal a glorious
message. We implore you, inspire in our hearts a fervent love for the
recitation of the rosary.
By meditating on the mysteries of the redemption that are recalled
therein may we obtain the graces and virtues that we ask, through
the merits of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and
lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy Mercy.

The AHG National Catholic Committee Our Lady of Fatima 100 Year
Anniversary Patch Program is optional and was created for youth to learn
more about Our Lady of Fatima.
Any American Heritage Girl Member is eligible to earn the Our Lady of Fatima 100
Year Anniversary patch. This patch may be earned with the AHG Unit/Troop or
your family. Patches are to be worn on the back of the girl’s vest/sash.

•Learn more about the lives of the children that Our Lady of Fatima visited. Create a visual presentation such as a poster, movie or power point to share with your family or AHG Unit/Troop.

Mary’s message at Fatima was one of hope. With your parent or AHG Unit/
Troop read and discuss Catechism of the Catholic Church paragraphs 1817-1821. Discuss the meaning of hope and how you can practice it in your life.

Discuss how the message of hope from Our Lady of Fatima can be embraced by people of all faiths. How can this message be shared with others in a respectful and loving manner, even among members of different faiths?
•
Discuss how the lives of the children were changed after the apparitions. What does it mean to be simple and child-like? What were the world events during the time of the apparitions?
•Participate in a hands-on service project that will bring hope to your community.
