10. List the types of industry and give an example of each. Econ notes: Service (teachers),
Retail (grocery store), Wholesale (Costco), Manufacturing (clothing factory in China),

11. What is limited government? List examples. What is unlimited government? List
examples. How is personal freedom affected in each type? P. 17 and 18 : Limited
government has a limited amount of power and therefore it’s citizens have a great
deal of freedom– examples are democracy, republic or constitutional monarchy.
Unlimited government has total power meaning it’s citizens have little freedom.
Examples are Theocracy, dictatorship, communism.
12.What are rights of U.S. citizens? Give examples. List the responsibilities of U.S.
citizens? P. 15 and poster – Rights are freedoms guaranteed to us in the constitution
and examples are voting, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, the right to a trial
etc. Responsibilities are things we should do like voting, serving on juries, paying taxes
etc.

14.What is multiculturalism? Give examples seen in Canada’s culture. To embrace more
than one culture. Canada has 2 official languages - English and French. Even the street
signs are in 2 languages.
15.Define amendment. A change or addition to the constitution
