Tarea del Verano: 2015-2016 Over the summer, all students taking either Spanish 2, 3, or 4 are required to complete the following summer assignments. All levels will use the same program, but might have different goals. The program being used is called “Duolingo.” It is available via computer (www.duolingo.com) or as an app in the App Store. Students will create an account, choose “Spanish” as their language, and will work on the necessary levels to complete their requirements. This program measures strength in a concept, meaning that when you finish it, you will be at full strength; however over time your strength will decrease. When school starts in August, you will need to be at full strength in the required levels. You must keep up with this throughout the summer! This summer homework is worth a test grade (100 points) and will be the first grade of the first quarter. Duolingo practices your speaking, listening, writing and grammar. You can even compete with your friends! You are free to complete as many levels as you wish, as long as your required levels are at full strength (gold medals) on the first full day of school, August 24, 2015.
