In the family room and adjacent front hall, Covino worked to create a sense of fun, relying on moderately priced retail furnishings with a few custom pieces, as well as some inexpensive finds, sprinkled in. Now that the space is awash in bright colors, cheerful patterns, and comfortable furniture, the family feels right at home, she says.
