DESCRIPTIONS

A walk through this Beneteau Oceanis 48 ...
Forward is the master stateroom featuring a large island berth with easy access from either side. The ensuite head
features separate head, wash basin and shower. All three can be accessed independently. The shower has glass
walls to give the feeling of spaciousness and light.
The salon features a sliding chart table to port that allows for multiple seating arrangements… move the seats aft,
move them forward, or split them. It's all up to you.
One of the wonderful features of the main salon is the amount of light coming into it. Overhead hatches, cabin
house side windows and hull windows all drench the cabin with light.
On the starboard side of the main salon is the large dining area. The surround seating is very comfortable with
plenty of space for guests and entertaining. The table can rotate and fold to a smaller size for "cocktail" style
entertaining.
Aft and to port is the large and very comfortable galley. Lots of storage and ample working counter space. The dual
sink is located more towards centerline, leaving the outboard areas very clear. Separate freezer and refrigerator
make storing food and access a snap. The built in microwave is sure to please everyone for the ability to quickly
heat up some soup or a meal. The stainless steel stove/combination will make any chef proud.
Between the galley and the head is the easy access companionway to the main deck.
Opposite the galley to starboard is the guest head that serves both aft cabins. Also accessible ensuite from the
starboard cabin, this head features a separate stall shower and plenty of room.
The aft cabins feature lots of natural light, both from overhead ports and hull windows. The large berths are very
comfortable. Headroom is very generous and the storage is very accessible.
On deck:
The spacious cockpit features a central dining table with fold out leaves. This provides dining for any number of
people. The unique folding swim platform transforms the cockpit into an oasis on the sea. Easy access for
swimming or entering/exiting the dinghy. The mainsail sheeting arch moves the mainsheet clear of all guests and
provides for a great attachment of the dodger and bimini. Wide decks make it very easy to move about the boat with
total comfort and safety.
