THEME: We Must Act Know
TITLE: His Purpose is our Purpose
I believe that all of us have a purpose in life. I believe that there is a goal in each
one of us, a commitment to achieve something great, not just for us but for
everybody around us. Dr.King had a purpose, his purpose was HUGE, but his
purpose had a solution, HIS PURPOSE was to achieve equality, peace and
harmony among everybody. Dr.Kings PURPOSE had a determination, willpower
and it was never to give up no matter how difficult HIS PURPOSE was.
35 years ago DR. King the man who thought the power of words and power of
love could bring black and white together .Martin Luther King Jr did
He dedicated all of his work for equal and justice rights. Dr. King is one of the
highest speakers in America’s history. Dr.king delivered his I HAVE A DREAM
speech IN WASHINGTON DC. Dr. Martin Luther king JR was a man who wanted his
own rights
A leader like DR. King is not born but made.
Dr. Martin Luther king JR was a man who fought with the power of his words.
Dr. king believed that if you fight phiscally that no one would listen to you but if
you fought with the power of your word that people would actually listen to you,
he believed that a soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
That the tongue of the wise adorns knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes
folly.
One of my favorite things I like about Dr. Martin Luther King JR is that he never
give up in what he believed in. Once my dog escaped and when we found him he
was badly injured it looked like he was going to die but we never gave up on him
and you know what I bet his in our house running around. So a leader like Dr.King
isn’t born but made.
So what if the same things that happened in DR. King time happened now. Who’s
going to be the kid to talk about fair rights? Who’s going to be the teacher to talk
about their rights? Without dr.king some of us maybe wouldn’t be her, I imagine
if dr.king was here what he would say, I think he would say thank you for your act
of kindness and joined together. So who’s purpose is it to talk about their fair
right at home, at school and even in the streets
We must act know!
Why?
Because the love of many will grow cold
We must act know!
Why?
Because the bullying is knocking at the door of our school, neighborhood and
even in our homes
We must act know!
Even though DR.KING is not among us anymore the words that he spoke back
then was, is and will always be powerful words that will never parish.
Dr.Kings death was not the end of the movement because we know that DR. Kings
legacy is the method by which he brought about change and his unwillingness to
ever give up nonviolence as the way to make sure that the means was in concert
with the ends desired.
Where do we go from here?
We now what was Dr.Kings Purpose but do we know what our purpose is?
Our purpose is to continue to walk and make waves in the nature of his vision for
a peace that is justice.
