ground lies between the hunting grounds of the
SSom
omogg y and Mecsek Forestries. The troat starts at the begining
Somogy
of September and lasts untill the 20 – 25th of September. We
bring down 20 – 25 stags during troat in this area, with 7 – 10 kg
in trophy weight.
As with similar hunting grounds,
the roe-deer stock, is of medium
quality and 200-380g antlers can
be expected.
In the middle of this scenic
hunting ground, there is an 850acre game preserve. The game
preserve owns a seperate boar
park, where we can provide a
rate of bring-downs of 30-50%
for our guests.
In the over 500-acre game preserve, our guests can bring 50 – 80
animals down a day. In the game preserve, there are good quality
deers, moufflons and fallow-deer. During driven shoots, deer and
moufflon can be brought down, so providing variety.
In the game preserve, we organise private stalking boar hunts. In
winter, there is a sledge is available for our guests.
In the ponds of the deep valleys of the Gödre hunting ground,
we organised flying halfwild-duck hunts, when it is possible that
as many as 500 – 1000 ducks can be bagged on a single occasion.
The area is famous for its distinguished cuisine and the friendly
welcome extended to visitors.
We look forward to welcoming our guests to our beautifully
situated, air-conditioned, antique furnished lakeside apartment
houses. For the pleasure of the anglers among our guests, large
carp and predatory fish can be caught in our ponds.
For the family members, on request we organise varied cultural
visits to the surrounding historical towns of Pécs, Kaposvár
and Dombóvár. The thermal and health spas of the DombóvárGunaras are very refreshing after hunting and touring.
Further options are to take a carriage ride, go horseriding, stalk
wild animals, or photo hunting in the game preserve.
During these programmes, a skilled hunter guide, with an indepth
knowledge of wild game is available to accompany our guests,
ensuring that free time between hunts can also be enjoyable.
We wish you exciting and successful hunting!
