In memory of Rob Kerr

Chiltern was struck by a car in a hit-run incident near his
home. Rob, tragically died a week later.
R
ob Kerr was a popular member of the Force in his town
and surrounding districts. To honour his memory an inaugural Memorial Cricket match was held between the
Wodonga/Rutherglen and Wangaratta Police last month.
The match was held at the Cornishtown Cricket Oval between
Chiltern and Rutherglen. This site was chosen because it was one
of Rob Kerr’s favourite spots in the area, and is dear to the hearts
of Rob’s widow Mary and his three children.
Robs wife, Mary and his mother Ruby were proud to be in the
crowd watching the match. Rob’s three children, Tim, Steve and
Sara and his brothers and sister were also there and even took
