Select objects

Select frame: Selection Tool
(Option1, recommended) Insert (“place”) picture: File > Place (Browse for picture)
This creates a link. You can check & reconnect links : Window > Links
(Option2): Copy & Paste (this does not create a link)
Fit picture:
a. Object > Fitting > Fit Content to Frame / Proportionally
b. Object > Fitting > Centre content
c. Object > Arrange > Send to Back / Send Backward
Create written content (text)
1. Create frame where text will be placed: Rectangle Frame Tool
2. Select frame: Selection Tool
3. (Option1, recommended) Insert (“place”) text from file: File > Place (Browse text)
4. (Option2) Type text directly:
Select frame: Selection Tool
Click Type tool
Click on frame and type directly
Text in columns
(Option 1: create multiple frames, then connect)
1. Create frame(s) where text will be placed: Rectangle Frame Tool
2. (Option 1) Connect the frames: Click , Click on next frame.
(Option 2: create multiple frames, then connect)
1. Create one frame
2. Insert Text (or Type > Fill with Placeholder Text)

3. Divide into columns, specify distance between columns
Object > Text Frame Options, OR
Resize text frames, formatting
1. Resize frame(s) with Selection Tool
2. Change text font: Click Type tool

Table > Insert Table

Preview
W (normal preview)
Shift + W (presentation preview)
Export File
For printing: File > Export > Adobe PDF (Print)
For viewing on Screen: File > Export > Adobe PDF (Interactive)
