This campaign is to send a message that regular normal Muslims like us condemn the barbaric acts of a few who have de- cided to hijack Islam. As part of this campaign, the Sunday School handed out T-shirts to all students and staff on Sunday, November 22nd. The campaign is aimed at sending the message that DO NOT COMMIT THESE ACTS IN THE NAME OF MY RELIGION OR NAME. A generous brother from the community donated these T -shirts, so any donation/ contribution towards the expense will be highly appreciated. The Sunday School held its annual nonperishable food items drive focused at teaching our students the concept of giving, helping others in need and giving thanks for the blessings that we have. This year the food was donated to Della Lamb. Della lamb is a local charity that has been providing free ICJC NEWSLETTER meal kits to families in need for decades including local Kansas City refugee families. The school collected nearly 500 food items. Jazakallah khairan to all the students and families for making the food drive successful.
