 GDP (gross domestic product) - The value of all the things that a country
produces always in US dollars
 Life expectancy - The average age a person is expected to live
 Infant mortality rate - The number of babies for every 1000 that are born, that
will die before they are 5 years old.
 People per doctor – the number of patients each doctor has
 Labour force - What kinds of jobs people do. Farming, factories or offices
 Urban population – the number of people living in cities
 Food intake – the amount of food each person eats in a day, usually as a % (100%)
being optimum for health
