World’s largest one-day leadership conference
to be simulcast in Collingwood
Collingwood, ON [25 April 2017] – Leadercast is
the world’s largest one-day leadership conference,
broadcast live from Atlanta and simulcast to
hundreds of locations around the world. This year’s
event happening on May 5th, 2017 marks the
seventeenth year of the annual leadership
conference hosted at Living Water Resort & Spa in
Collingwood.
The theme of this year’s leadership conference is,
“Powered by Purpose.” Today’s organization can
no longer rely on old practices. A new organization
is emerging and at the center of its driving force is
the igniting power of purpose. Purpose is the glue for an organization and the fuel for
an individual. Research indicates that employees who feel they are working towards a
good cause show increased productivity by up to 30% and people who are able to make
a social or environmental impact on the job are more satisfied by a 2:1 ratio.
The leadership conference will allow attendees to discover the steps they can take to
uncover their purpose, to reconnect to their organization’s “why”, to attract and engage

Leadercast Collingwood offers an immersive experience at the lakeside Living Water
Resort & Spa. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. with open remarks at 8:45 a.m. Three sets of
speaker sessions follow before closing remarks at 3:30 p.m. Tickets also include a
delicious lunch and two refreshment breaks.

opportunity for four local leaders to express what Powered by Purpose means for them
