Puffy Paint

Microwave
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon of water
Food coloring
Muffin tin
Bowl
Black paper
Paint brush

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl
Separate the mix into the six different muffin holes
Add 2 or more drops of food coloring

Have the children use the paint brush to apply the mixture to the black paper
The children can make any design they would like
Once completed place the paper in the microwave for 20 seconds
Do not leave the microwave unattended
Take the paper out (may be hot)
Let the paper cool off and dry
And bam puff paint!

Blow Paint
Need

Straws
Tempura or finger paint (thinned out with water)
How

•
Thin out the paint to be the consistency of water
Can cut the straws shorter
What

•
Have the children use the straws
Have them dip the straw into the paint
Next they can either blow the straw immediately or pat the straw to put the paint on the paper
and then blow
Get creative with it!!
