presents
“Discovery: Just When You Think
You Know Someone…”
with Karen Lee, Executive Director - SEEC
and Consultant, Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) Employment First State Leadership
Mentoring Program (EFSLMP)
The intentional steps used to get to know a job seeker most often unveils
exciting things about a person you never knew before. You can learn about a
person’s hidden talents and passions, about who is in their circle of support or
acquaintances they may have. All of these hidden gems can be used in helping
a person with a disability identify a career and look for a job. In this hands on
session, we will learn about and practice discovery activities, create a
relationship map, and learn about the steps to discovery.
