Exploding Popcorn! Watch out! It’s a rolling meatball! Are you hungry, or just down right nosy? Come and
see what’s cooking in Big Mama’s Kitchen. We will read lots of books, and learn math and science while we
cook!
Celebrate Good Times (Serves Grades 1-2)
What does your family eat on Thanksgiving? Do you have turkey? Mashed potatoes? Cornbread? But what
about the rest of the world? How do some of the other 7 billion people in the world celebrate their traditions?
Why do we eat special foods during celebrations? Journey around the world and learn about all the
interesting ways that people celebrate. Make sure you bring your appetite!

Come inside the jungle where there are EXPLORE-ations galore! Let’s get up close and dirty to the who, the
what, and the how of the mighty jungle! Have you ever wondered what creepy-crawlies live in jungles? How
about the plants or beasts that live there? You will investigate and build on your knowledge of habitats and
explore different animal adaptations and physical characteristics.

sweet mysteries of physical science. At the end of each visit, your tummy will have something yummy. See

Let’s talk in SPANISH! Gain exposure to new cultures and have a blast in the process. We will incorporate
original music, dance, games, storytelling and more! We will make piñatas and tortillas, as we travel through
different countries where Spanish is the official language. We will learn about their music, their food, and
