“Tri-Pump” is a unique kinetic sculpture. Ringer
is a self-taught artist who specializes in kinetic

Los Angeles Museum of Art, Smithsonian Institute,
and the Whitney Museum.

Accompanied by book “Drawing for Painting” by
Donald Vogel. The artist, a resident of Dallas, Texas,
has been a painter, set designer, lecturer, teacher and
gallery owner. He was born in Milwaukee in 1917,
and in the mid-1930's, moved to San Antonio and
studied at the Witte Memorial Museum School of Art
under Eleanor Onderdonk. During this period of time,
Vogel attended classes at the Corcoran School of Art,
Washington, D.C. From 1936 to 1940, Vogel studied
at the Art Institute of Chicago and started painting
full-time after joining a Works Program.

1059. Yankel Ginzburg’s “Continuity”
“Continuity”—Ed. (17/200), signed serigraph created
in 31 colors on Arches paper, framed, 31"x38¾".
“Continuity” was designed by Israeli artist Yankel
Ginzburg to commemorate the historic signing of the
Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty at Camp David in March
1979. It depicts the connection of a great ancient
society to what Ginzburg described as mankind’s
future food forms. Dedicated prints of “Continuity”
were presented to Menachem Begin, Anwar Sadat,
and Jimmy Carter and they still remain in the
collections or estates of these great men.
