More and More Requests are coming up to convert and load Spools as PDF documents
still using all the OS400 Indexer Functions (not PDF Indexer etc...).
ODSPL2PDF can help here !
ODSPL2PDF provides a monitor function to index customer spools and load
those as PDF documents into OnDemand.
(Similar to OUTQ handling and Spool recognition of STRMONOND)
ODSPL2PDF (step 1) is using the standard OnDemand OS400 Indexer to index and
segment customer spools (SCS, AFPDS, LINE )* to keep the full advantage of
OS400 Indexer. (including Float Trigger, Transaction Fields etc...).
ODSPL2PDF (step 2) converts the indexed and segmented spool into PDF format
(using standard V7R1 OS400 PDF conversion) and loads those, together with the
index values (got from OS400 Indexer – step 1), into OnDemand.
ODSPL2PDF Conversion can be used for new spools and for spools already
archived into OnDemand.

Convert SCS Spools into
AFP Spools adding Overlays to it for Archiving but use the original Spools for
Printing.
This is what ODSCS2AFP can do:
ODSCS2AFP provides a monitor to recognize and convert selected
SCS Spools into enhanced AFPDS Spools (using printer files with
overlays etc...), needed for archiving or PDF conversion.
ODSC2AFP provides a flexible OUTQ handling to move original and
enhanced spools into selectable OUTQs, based on several
selectable spool attributes.
ODSCS2AFP Conversion can be used for new spools and for
spools already archived in OnDemand.

Some Customer have problems to use Standard OD Client, ICN or FNDKEYOND
(different Reasons, like Terminal Server etc...)
A Workaround could be FNDKEY5250 command
FNDKEY5250 provides a 5250 Command, which is able to search, display,
delete and print archived OS400 Spools (SCS,AFPDS,LINE) in a 5250 session
only! (when ever OnDemand Client can‘t be used).
FNDKEY5250 can also search, retrieve, delete non OS400 Spools like PDFs,
Tifs, etc...

Do you need to add, remove or update OnDemand User frequently? –
doing it manually could be very timeconsuming and
causing mistakes.
ODUSER4i could help here
ODUSER4i can be used to synchronize OnDemand Authorization with
OS400 Authorization Lists, so it can be done by a OS400 program
without going to Windows OnDemand Administration Client.
ODUSER4i provides 5250 Command, which automatically adds,
updates or removes OS400 Users in OnDemand ‚USER‘ or ‘GROUPS‘
ODUSER4i is also able to handle single user profiles and selected
OnDemand Groups instead of using OS400 Authorization lists.

ODTIFFCHECK can help
'ODTiffCheck' is a software program that checks Content Manager
OnDemand archived image files for their technical correctness.
The check routine detects Pix-Trans-Errors by evaluating the over-all
amount of black pixels within the image file and calculate the
percentage.
The structure of the file header is another detector for a corrupted
image file that 'ODTiffCheck' takes into account.
The standard version of 'ODTiffCheck' is geared to TIFF files. Other file
formats available on request.
Error logs are provided for all defective files and optional for all files
examined. A summary can be emailed to a defined list of recipients
including the logs.
