1. 舞蹈《大唐风韵》Tang Style Dance “Tang Charm”
表演者：刘辉、王裕强等 Performers： LIU Hui , WANG Yuqiang and
others.
简介：A graceful ancient Tang style dance showing the strength, cultural
richness and prosperity of the Tang Dynasty.
2. 古琴演奏《流水》 Guqin Solo “Flowing Water”
古琴：林蔚丽， 太极：康杰、薛龙 Guqin played by LIN Weili, Tai Chi
by KANG Jie and XUE Long.
简介：
“Flowing Water” is a famous ancient Chinese song expressing how
water flows from the mountains to the ocean and how the ancient sages,
like Confucius, spirits were one with the water. The Chinese old saying
uses "high mountains and flowing water" refers to the understanding and
compassion among friends. The Tai Chi performance represents the
strength and gentleness of water and gives the image of how water can be
both fierce and calming.
3. 舞蹈《无言的倾诉》Dance “Silent Narration”
表演者：张家宁、李宣霖 Performers: ZHANG Jianing, LI Xuanlin.
“Silent Narration” is a Mongolian two person male dance expressing the
masculinity and strength of Mongolian men and showing the beauty of
power. This dance shows the strong relationship between two brothers
and the conflicts and all the things they have been trough. After growing
old all of their experiences together become clearer. The relationship
between brothers may burn fast like a flame, but it is also a beautiful
heart filled portrait.
4. 舞蹈《踏歌》 Dance “Spring Outing”
表演者：郭欣悦等 Performers：GUO Xinyue and others.
简介：This ancient Chinese dance style created over 2000 years ago
represents a group of young girls dancing and singing in the grass as
spring arrives. The picturesque performance is adapted from the pictures
of Chinese ancient grottos, mural paintings, and ancient painted pottery
figures.
5. 古筝独奏《茉莉芬芳》Guzheng Solo “The Fragrant Jasmine”
古筝演奏：孙卓 Guzheng played by Sun Zhuo.
简介：In 1991, HE Zhanhao adapted the famous folk song ‘Jasmine
Flower’ into a solo Guzheng piece. The fragrant jasmine is a metaphor
for pure love. HE combined the contemporary Guzheng playing
techniques with traditional folk music cadence. The simple and pleasant
melody features the musical style of southern China.
6. 女声独唱《崖畔上酸枣红艳艳》、《斯卡布罗集市》 Female Solo
“The Beautiful Red Jujube on the Cliff”, and “Scarborough Fair”

Performer: LI Xin.
简介：This local folk song from northern Shaanxi describes the simple
love between a girl and a young shepherd. The folk songs in Northern
Shaanxi are characterized by their long, loud and echoing vocalization
and free rhythms.
简介："Scarborough Fair" is a traditional English ballad about the
Yorkshire town of Scarborough. The song was popular among college
students in the 1960s as the interlude from the movie The Graduate.
7. 舞蹈《桃夭》 Dance “Tao Yao”
表演者：王笑等 Performers: WANG Xiao and others.
简介：This Han Tang classical dance is a representation of the“Tao Yao”
poem from the Book of Songs which was used in Confucius’s teachings.
“Fully blanketed is the peach buds, twilight bestrews the flowers
coming into bloom.” The poem uses peach trees and flowers, which are
often used in weddings, to represent the happiness and hope that marriage
brings.

二 胡 扬 琴 合 奏 《 秦 川 谣 》 Erhu and Yangqin Ensemble “The
Qinchuan Ballad”
二胡：席晨，扬琴：林蔚丽 Erhu played by XI Chen, Yangqin played by
LIN Weili.
简介：This ballad is based on music from operas of the Shaanxi province,
it shows how the people from Shaanxi are hard working, kind, have a
positive outlook on life and have high hopes for a beautiful future.

武术表演《中国功夫》 Chinese Kung Fu
表演者：康杰、薛龙 Performers: KANG Jie, XUE Long and others.
简介：This performance is a combination of and sword fighting, bo staff
and fan Tai chi martial arts. The combination of power and serenity
makes for an artistic exciting performance.
10. 舞蹈《旋旋旋》Dance Spin, Spin, Spin
表演者：史迪芬等 Performers: SHI Difen and others.
简介：Spin, spin, and spin is a traditional dance from China’s Uyghur
ethic group in the Xinjiang Province. Uyghur dances are full of
movement, happiness and elegance. Bright rhythms, dynamic melodies
and spinning express their passion and love for life.
11. 民乐演奏《闹红火》 Folk Song “Celebrating the Red Fire”
表演者：王鹤、张圆鑫等 Performers: WANG He, Zhang Yuanxin etc.
“Celebrating the Red Fire” is a traditional new years event in Central
Shaanxi. This piece is influenced by Shaanxi folk music, and the
warming joyfulness shows scenes of a happy new year for the people of
central Shaanxi.
12. 唢呐演奏《百鸟朝凤》 Suona “All Birds Worship the Phoenix”
表演者：赵慧芳等 Performer：ZHAO Huifang and others.
简介：The Suona is a popular traditional wind instrument introduced from
Persia. The sound of the Suona is lively bright and loud and also used to
accompany folk music, opera and dance. The Suona plays the sounds of
more than a hundred birds and expresses people’s love for nature and the
workers joyous positive attitudes.
13. 舞蹈《秦风舞韵》 Dance “The Appeal Dance of Qin”
表演者：惠颖、雒满新等 Performers: HUI Ying, LUO Manxin and
others.
简介：This dance uses classical Shaanxi dancing elements to represent
Shaanxi peoples yearning for a beautiful life. Using classical props and
joyful dancing this performance is exciting, cheerful and full of Shaanxi
culture.
