Students “home-base’ for courses is Blackboard. It is the technology system used
by TCC to support student learning. They will log into MyTCC with their ID
number and password.
Students can watch three-part orientation videos via Blackboard and refer to them
often.
Students are assigned a TCC email [email protected]. They are to
communicate with their professors using this email only. They should check it
frequently.
Check their grades, assignments, announcements, and course dates on
Blackboard.
Student can check their OSSAA eligibility: Grade to date column – P or F (pass
or fail). This can be used to communicate with their school or family at any time.
If a student is experiencing issues with technology, they may call 918-595-2000
(Call2000).

Copy and use the Concurrent Action Steps Calendar available on our website (see
Counselors’ Corner).
College classes follow the TCC academic calendar. There are no excused
absences for sports or high school activities.
Time management, communications, prioritizing, and self-advocacy are important
elements of the college experience. Encourage students in all of these areas so
that they learn how to truly become a successful college student.
Always direct students to read the instructor’s syllabus for each course. It is their
contract with the professor.
Enroll early every semester to take advantage of course offerings and schedules.
TCC Concurrent Students Resources




TCC Learning Resource Center (library) is a great resource to assist students and
is also fully accessible on-line.
Free reading, writing, math, and science tutoring, as well as computer use, are
available at any of our four main campuses.
Students may use Fitness Centers located on all TCC campuses. Students under
18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission.
Check the College’s Information Technology Services for free software such as
Microsoft Office.
Counselor
 Account balances may be viewed via MyTCC. Students must pay for classes/fees
prior to the start of class. This may be done at any of our four campuses or online
unless your school has set up a third-part billing account.
o If your high school has established 3rd party billing with the College, the
high school will then be responsible for collecting the money and paying
the TCC invoice with one payment.
 Finals exam schedules are sent out well in advance of the test. Please alert
students to any conflicts with AP or high school finals tests. The student is
expected to take the TCC final at the scheduled time.
 We want to see juniors take advantage of the ACE tuition waiver. Since the ACT
is used for placement eligibility, please encourage sophomores to take this test the
spring of their 10th grade year. See information for Residual Testing at TCC.
 New student orientations and prospective student presentations are available
through the TCC Concurrent Enrollment Department. Give us a call to schedule
one.
 The Concurrent Enrollment Department is available to assist you and your
students. Contact us with questions or to schedule college presentations.
