PICTURE MAKE UP/RETAKE DAY
Picture make-up/retake day is Tuesday, November 29. If you did not get your picture taken in
October, please pick up a form in the office or print it out on the next page. If you would like
your picture retaken, please send the old package back to school and hand it to the
photographer on Tuesday, Nov. 29 to have your package redone.
The food service department is seeking applicants for substitute positions. These positions usually lead to
permanent positions. Applicants can contact me at 598-2959 to receive a substitute employment packet.
WSSN
Girl Scout Troop 43807 is collecting caps with recycling #'s of 2, 4, & 5 for a "Buddy Bench". They cannot accept
water bottle caps. Please send them in to Springmyer. When a student sits on a buddy bench, others will know
that student is interested to play with someone. WSSN reporters Maggie, Ady, Savannah, Zoe, Emma, Bella,
Grace, Kayla & Isabelle tell you all about it in their video below.

OAK HILLS BAND ASSOCIATION 23RD ANNUAL HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR
OHBA Holiday Craft Fair will be held Saturday, November 19th, 2016 from 9am to 3pm
at Oak Hill High School.
The annual Oak Hills Band Association Fall Craft Fair will be held at OHHS this Saturday, November 19, 9am-3pm.
Admission is only $2 and children under 10 are admitted free. Over 300 crafters will be on display in the gym, commons,
and entire main floor of the building, with a huge selection of items and prices that make your holiday and birthday shopping
easy.
There will be full concessions open in the commons all day long for your convenience with a fairly extensive menu. Also, we
are planning on having two entrances this year: one up front by the flagpole, and another down at the large gym.
Also, this Sunday, our top jazz ensemble, the Ambassador Jazz Band, will be performing at the Germania Society's
Kristkindlmarkt at Germania Park from 1:00 - 1:45pm. Come check out some of our fantastic jazz musicians while enjoying a
super fun, super cool German festival.
Bring the family and enjoy a great time at one or both of these fun annual events! Happy Holidays, and we look forward to

DELHI TOWNSHIP BICENTENNIAL COOKBOOK – GREAT HOLIDAY GIFTS!!!
Don’t miss out on this cookbook that contains over 500 recipes submitted by Delhi residents and friends. All proceeds go
to a Delhi Bicentennial permanent project to benefit the Delhi community. Price is $15 plus tax ($16.05).

OHHS is currently selling OH chromebook sleeves and OH logo stickers as a fundraiser for their
Student Activities account until December 9. Please see attached flier for pricing and details. All
purchases will be delivered to your student’s school. Payments can be made cash or check payable

ATTENTION SPRINGMYER PARENTS: EARLY ADVENTURES REOPENING ON MONDAY!
Thank you so much to those of you who expressed interest in the Early Adventures before-school program
at Springmyer. Due to the high-level of interest from our parents, the program will be reopening at
Springmyer this Monday, November 14th at 7:00 a.m.

Oak Hills Youth Athletics Wrestling Registration is now open online.
Participation is open to students in grades K through 6. Additional

Basketball Registration is OPEN
Oak Hills Youth Athletics Basketball Registration is now open online. Boys
and Girls in grades 1 and 2 can sign up until February 1st. Practice and

PLAY BALL! The Little Highlanders Baseball and Softball organization will hold in-person sign-ups on
Saturday, January 21, 2017 and Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PMin The Commons Area at Oak Hills
High School, 3200 Ebenezer Rd. for ages 4 – 18. We are looking for players and coaches at all levels. T-Ball and Pony Ball

SHILOH UPWARD PROGRAM: Shiloh United Methodist Church is registering boys and girls for its winter 2017
Upward sports season for girls cheerleading and co-ed basketball for boys and girls K-5 through 4th grade. Upward
Sports is an international organization with the following mission statement:“Using the ‘universal language’ of sports,
Upward Sports connects with kids at a critical time in their lives to teach skills for the sports arena and values for
life.” Registration fees: $56.00 which includes uniform, pompoms (cheerleading) and ending celebration with special
awards. Please call Shiloh (451-3600), stop by and pick up registration forms or register online
(shilohumc.com). Registration has already begun and sometimes we do fill up for different age groups. Deadline
is November 29 for early registration. After this date, fees could be increased.

SPRINGMYER CARNIVAL TREASURE CHEST
It's Official the Carnival Steering Committee is hard at work trying to get items for Treasurer Chest.
The holiday season is a great time of the year - if you see a great bargin and you are willing to donate
something send one or two items to the Carnival.
The Treasure Chest Committee is also looking for bags to use for prizes in the treasure chest raffle.
Please send in to the office any unwanted gift bags or shopping bags you collect from your holiday
shopping or parties. We can use any type and size of paper bag ie. Bath and Body, Macy’s, old
birthday bags, old Christmas bags, etc. We need a lot of them so any donations will be appreciated
and put to good use. Thank you for your support.
