Salary
Duties
$2,877 – $3,284
Under the general supervision of the Lottery Manager (Sales), the
Warehouse Worker’s responsibilities include:
 Responsible for the receipt, storage, issuance and shipping of
Lottery Point-of-Sale material
 Receives Point of Sale from the distribution center and from
contracted vendors, issues Point-of-Sale and supplies to District
Sales Representative (DSR) Route Sales Representatives (RSR)
staff and Lottery retailers
 Maintain inventory control of Point-of-Sale and premium items
 Prepare retailer full pack return tickets for shipment to the Northern
and Southern Distribution Centers and provide Headquarters with
an inventory of field transfers
 Responsible for processing returned partial tickets, ensuring
accuracy of inventory and documentation prior to shipment to
Distribution Center for audit and destruction
 Maintain efficient processing of returned partial tickets and ensure
timely crediting of Retailer accounts

Desirable Qualifications
Applicants applying for this position should:
 Possess a valid Class III California driver license
 Lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 125
pounds on a periodic basis
 Work in an environment that requires the incumbent be free from
sensitivity to normal warehouse conditions including heat, cold,
dust and/or other debris
 Have knowledge of methods of taking inventories and maintaining
inventory records

have permanent full-time status and who possess the required skills and
abilities. The position will be awarded to the Post & Bid candidate with the

those candidates who are current state employees currently in the Warehouse
Worker classification, eligible for appointment to this classification, or on a
current eligible list for appointment to this classification. Applications will be
