WALLPAPER ADHESIVE

FINTEX WALLPAPER ADHESIVE, 5055
WALLPAPER ADHESIVE
For attaching all wallpaper types in dry or humid indoor conditions
Application: For gluing vinyl, textile, paper and non-woven wallpapers as well as glass fibre fabrics
Instructions for use:
The application area shall be cleaned of dirt and dust; uneven surfaces should be evened and sanded until smooth.
Old wallpaper shall be removed before gluing, and painted surfaces should be washed with detergent. High-gloss
painted surfaces should be sanded to a matte finish, and any sanding dust should be brushed away. Porous surfaces
should be primed with 30% thinned adhesive or undiluted 5002 Fintex 2 primer. When gluing, the undiluted adhesive
is applied to a wall with a painter roller - two to three wallpaper tile sections at a time. The adhesive application rate
is 250-350 g/m2, depending on the quality of the wallpaper and the respective surface. Apply the wallpaper, e.g., with
a plastic spatula, within 30 minutes of applying the adhesive at the latest. Attachment on porous surfaces is to be
carried out immediately after applying the adhesive. The process temperature should be above 15° C and relative humidity up to 80% (RH). The drying time of the adhesive is 12 hours, after which glass fibre wallpaper may be primed.
Any adhesive stains can be removed with a damp sponge before the adhesive dries. Wash tools with water immediately after use. Please note that abnormal air temperatures and humidity affect drying times significantly.
