Amy: Hi, this is Amy from AmyWorks. I’m here today to show you a great secret tip on using blue masking
tape to get great, beautiful, crisp lines.
Info Slide:
For BEST results you’ll need:
blue masking tape, painter’s caulk
Info Slide:
Once tape is down.....
Painter’s caulk is your secret weapon
next slide:
Run a small bead along edge (of the tape.)
Amy:
Then, what you’ll do is wipe it off.
Info Slide:
WHAT?!
Amy:
When you wipe it off, what it’s doing is forcing the painter’s caulk down underneath the edge of that tape.
Okay? (finishes wiping off). Then we’re gonna paint it. (points to uncaulked side) This side I didn’t do, right?
(paints over that side as well). We’ll show a little comparison.
Voice off screen:
I think I left the paint on too long. Can you leave paint on too long?
Amy:
It’s not going to affect the paint underneath by leaving it on longer, but how it’ll affect it is, it may pull paint off
Voice off screen:
