Terms of Agreement
The information contained on this form will be transcribed onto a standard
IAESTE offer form.
Every effort will be made to select a candidate for training according to the
requirements that you have indicated on this form. For this reason it is
advisable to include as much detail as possible both on the type of placement
offered and the qualifications of the trainee required.
Please attach a company brochure with your Offer of Training Form, as this
will further ensure that an informed and motivated student is put forward as
your trainee.
One student will be nominated for your placement and once you have
confirmed acceptance of the trainee, IAESTE will issue all the necessary
papers. We would ask that if you do not find the chosen candidate acceptable
we should be allowed to put forward an alternative candidate.
Although this training offer you are making is not legally binding, we
request that you view this as a serious commitment to hold a place open for
an IAESTE trainee, at least until the specified nomination deadline.
PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER THIS AS A SOURCE OF ONE OF MANY
APPLICATIONS TO BE SCREENED FOR TRAINING PLACEMENTS

Categories
D - Research & Development offers
These offers cover research and development activity. Offers in this category are often
laboratory-based and deal with special project work. They entail some element of
diagnostic analysis, testing and evaluation and have some theoretical content. Such offers
would normally be filled by advanced-level students. These offer could also be used for
diploma, project or thesis work.
P - Professional offers
These offers cover professional activity. Offers in this category entail specialised
professional work and the level of technical skill usually found in more advanced
students. They often deal with special project work, possible in a design office, in technical
management or in testing services.
W – Working environment offers
These offers cover operational activity. Offers in this category are on-site or assembly
work related to the production process and students gain experience in the hands-on
working environment. Such offers are particularly suitable for students at the beginning or
middle of their studies.
X - Non specific offers
These offers are not confined to students from a specific subject-field. They cover activities
such as guest reception officer work, general office work and language offers. Offers in
this category provide useful experience for students and a service to receiving employers.”
