PhilosophyofChristianEducation AChristianschoolwithabiblicalworldviewisaplacewhereeverydecision,individuallyor collectively,isbasedonthefollowingprinciples: 1. TheBibleisinerrantandGod-inspired,thebasisofallTruthandknowledge,theonly authoritativeWordofGod,andtheheartofthecurriculuminChristianeducation. 2. InChristianeducation,theremustberecognitionoftotaldepravity,humaninability,andthe needforthesovereigngraceofGodingivinglifeandlightthroughapersonalrelationshipwith JesusChrist.(Ephesians2:4,ICorinthians2:14)Inotherwords,manisnotinnatelygoodand, therefore,wedon’texpectjusttotellstudentswhattheyshoulddoandexpectthattheywilldo it.Wealsodon’tbelieveeducationcansaveorchangeapersonorsociety;onlyChristcando that.Genesis8:21says,“Man’sbentisalwaystowardevilfromhisearliestyouth.” 3. Inconclusion,thephilosophyofChristianeducationmustbeginandendwithChrist. PhilosophyofRules Thishandbookcontainsinformation,rules,regulations,andstandardsofcourtesythathelpus achieveourmissionasaChristianschool.Webelievethatbiblicalprinciplesgivethreegood reasonsforrules. 1. God’sCommands A. SomeofourrulesarebasedoncommandsfoundinGod’sWord. B. Proverbs7:1,2b–“Myson,keepmywordsandstoreupmycommandswithinyou.Keep mycommandsandyouwilllive.” 2. GoodCautions A.
