Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), what is that? I wondered. I had been a member of St. Clare Parish for some years, however, I hardly knew anyone. One Sunday at Mass, I decided it was time to change that. It just so happened that there was an article in the bulletin asking for new PPC members. I felt that I was being guided, so I volunteered and was accepted. This is my last year of my 4-year term on the PPC. It has been a wonderful experience. I have learned so much and have met so many fantastic people. I also believe I have used my talents to help our parish community. So what is the Parish Pastoral Council? The PPC meets with Father Klasinski monthly. In these meetings, the Council discerns how we can help Father and the Parish with various issues and events such as Welcome Sunday and the Ministry Fair. Members of the PPC are ordinary people with individual talents, like you. Please consider this opportunity. It will be rewarding on so many levels. ~ Prayers, Pat Gilbert Want to learn how you can be a Council member and join us for our April 7th meeting?
