MUSKOKA THEME EVENTS
● “Wild About Muskoka” | Step into a wilderness camp inspired evening with a ‘canoe bar’ filled
with ice and beverages, servers in ‘Muskoka plaid,’ and locally sourced dishes including wild
game charcuterie, Milford Bay smoked trout, smoked loin of venison and more. Add Muskoka
craft beer, a campfire or Muskoka chair ice sculpture drink luge options.
● Peninsula Lake Shore Dinner | Gather at the beach for a memorable plein air dining experience as
the sun sets over the lake. The scene is set with canoe ‘bars,’ beach torches and gingham covered
picnic tables topped with candles in sand pails. Menu highlights include cornmeal crusted pickerel,
Muskoka shellfish bake, sugar shack chicken and wildflower honey glazed pork ribs. Add a waterfront
campfire and live music to add to the magic.
● Maple Sugar Shack | Celebrate Muskoka’s sweetest season with vignettes inspired by our own
sugar shack – sap buckets on trees, trays of crushed ice “snow” for taffy making, Muskoka plaid attired
servers and an upscale menu proving maple syrup is not just for pancakes! Add a cooking demo,
Muskoka craft beer, campfire and a fiddler to complete the effect.
● Algonquin Park Picnic | Think outside of the boxed lunch when you take one of our hiking, paddling
or adventure challenge excursions to Algonquin Park, Canada’s oldest provincial park. Our moveable
Lunch on the Run treats include pitas, wraps and focaccia.
MUSKOKA THEME EVENTS
● Street Food Marche | Inspired by the social food movement across North America, this casual
interactive dinner is styled as a roving indoor food market, with a summer street vendor vibe that’s fun,
fresh and perfect for mingling.
● Chef’s Night Off | At this dinner event guests at each table are assigned a role in preparing or
serving the evening’s menu. Participants get to go behind the scenes in the resort kitchen, or get
insider tips from the sommelier and other expert staff. Get ready to shake, stir, chop and pour your way
to shared success. The finished meal is a uniquely delicious culinary experience.

Deerhurst’s concert series features headliner entertainment all throughout the year including
holiday party season. Acts vary from top Canadian bands like April Wine, Trooper, Chilliwack
and The Stampeders to stand-up comedy and recording artists such as Jim Cuddy, Gowan and
Alan Frew of Glass Tiger, to name a few! Wow your crowd with a 3-course dinner, served right
in the venue.
● Let Us Entertain You | There’s nothing like live music to liven up your event. From a Top 40
dance bands to jazz trios or a campfire singer/guitarist, we can arrange just the right
entertainment for your evening or event.
● Viva Las Vegas | Imagine welcoming your guests to the High Rollers Club, where feather
tower centerpieces add glitz and glitter. An optional gaming area includes all the accessories,
dealers, play money and raffle tickets. Compete the night with a comedian, card shark or
Sinatra-esque band.
UNIQUE GALA DINNERS
● Summit Up | Follow in the footsteps of world leaders like Barack Obama, David Cameron
and Angela Merkel, who stayed at Deerhurst during the 2010 G8 Summit. Recreate your
own “gr8” G8 inspired event with a red carpet welcome, dishes from the actual leaders’
menus, “family photo,” a mural painting session and more. Helicopters optional!
● Fire & Ice | This elegant evening sparkles with the crystal shine of ice sculptures, candles, a
