Offender Charged in October Vehicle Dealership Burglary

Narrative:
Green was positively identified as the offender who made forcible entry
into a car dealership located on the 5300 block of W. Irving Park Road
in October 2016 and stole a vehicle. Chicago Police Officers placed
Green into custody on December 21, 2016 at approximately 3:40 p.m.
on the 6900 block of N. Clark Street after he committed a minor traffic
violation. Further investigation by Officers revealed an investigative
alert in connection to the October burglary incident. He was
subsequently placed into custody and charged accordingly. The
investigation remains open and ongoing. No further information is
available at this time.
