Centennial Theme Song
We’re excited to announce a partnership with former 4-H’er Blake Reid who will be creating a theme
song that captures the spirit of 4-H. Stay tuned for updates on the song and special performances by
Blake throughout the anniversary year.
Regional 4-H Events
Your club, district or region can think about ways to join in the celebrations, whether by participating in
provincial activities, or creating your own events. Every region will have the opportunity to apply for up

Western Regional Leaders’ Forum (WRLF) 2017
Coming to Canada for the first time, Alberta is excited to host the Western Regional Leaders’ Forum
(WRLF) from March 16-19, 2017 at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton. For the centennial year,
this event will combine Leaders’ Conference and Senior Members’ Conference into WRLF and be
completed with pre and post tours, sessions, entertainment and tons of networking!
Announcing: 4-H Alberta Centennial Fever (aka “4-H Fever”)
This is the event you’ve all been waiting for! 4-H will descend upon Olds, the birthplace of 4-H in Alberta,
from August 3-7, 2017. This signature event is the opportunity for 4-H’ers – past, present and future – to
come together and celebrate 100 years of community, friendship and opportunity. We will converge on
the Olds Regional Exhibition grounds to party like we’re having our 100 birthday… because we are!
Many provincial 4-H events and competitions will be held during 4-H Fever, both those held annually as
well as special versions to mark our centennial, including a variety of livestock and life skills showcases.
Expect many fun activities for individuals and families. Traditional 4-H favourites such as a talent show
and dance, as well as a concert will make for a very exciting celebration of a century of 4-H!
