Echo Echo Dance Theatre Company
presents
The Cove
Sat 1st April | 8pm
Tickets €16/€14
A dance theatre performance inspired by memories of a hidden
cove on the Donegal coast. Directed by Steve Batts.
The Cove is a performance about the natural world, and the place of
people in it. It reflects on the experience of the beauty of the wild Irish
coast and its embodiment in movement. The Cove is created around and
with a large scale installation made from heavy, strong, shiny blocks. They
reflect the light, like the surface of the sea or the shiny rocks. Through
this environment a woman travels. She climbs, sits, contemplates and is
enfolded by the spirit of the place.
Opera Theatre Company presents
Acis & Galatea
Fri 7th April | 8pm

Handel’s Acis and Galatea is a
pastoral tale of love between Galatea and Acis, but things become darker
when Polyphemus decides he wants Galatea for himself. With renowned
baroque specialist Peter Whelan as Music Director, Acis & Galatea is sung
in English and features the dazzling Irish Baroque Orchestra, with Eamonn
Mulhall and Susanna Fairbairn as the thwarted lovers and Edward Grint as
Polyphemus and Andrew Gavin as Damon. Handel’s glorious music – full
of wit and soaring melodies is elegant and exciting and the enchanting
choruses, touching arias, and comic moments will enthrall and delight.
The Lime Tree Theatre is delighted to be continuing its partnership with one
of Ireland’s premier opera companies, Opera Theatre Company.

Equinox Theatre Company presents
The M House
Tue 4th April | 8pm
Wed 5th April | 11.30am
Tickets €12/€10
Kilkenny based Equinox Theatre Company brings The M House, which tells
the absurd story of seven humans put in a box and categorised by the first
letter of their name. They are kept there supposedly watching television all
day by a conglomerate who manage a service for boxing and categorising
humans. Their ‘man on the ground’ is Middleman whose job it is to manage
the day to day running of the M House. The Ms don’t want to watch television
all day. Necessity drives them to be creative in their six foot cube which they
actually have to hold up themselves. They manage to enrich their lives by dint
of their own imaginations. A dynamic work that celebrates inclusivity.
Brokentalkers presents
Have I No Mouth
Fri 21st April | 8pm
Tickets €16/€14
A real-life mother and son take a
brave, unflinching look at their past
and attempt to piece together the truth in the aftermath of a family tragedy.
Breaking all theatrical conventions, Brokentalkers’ Feidlim Cannon and his
mother Ann are joined onstage by their Dublin-based psychotherapist Erich
Keller who guides them through an exploration of old memories, childhood
recollections, and the different ways we can heal ourselves. Have I No
Mouth is a moving and astonishingly unvarnished portrait of grief, and a
celebration of the ever-changing relationship between a mother and son.
Brokentalkers are part of PROJECT ARTISTS, an initiative of Project Arts
Centre. Brokentalkers are represented by Quaternaire.
Funded by the Arts Council.

loser’s perspective. It’s a show for anyone who
has ever been told off, called a name or has fallen in love with the wrong
person. Multi-award-winning playwright and performer Tim Crouch reimagines Twelfth Night in this, his brilliant one-man show. I, Malvolio
is a charged and often unsettling rant from a man ‘notoriously wronged’,
a man adrift in front of mocking spectators. Malvolio draws us into the
madness of Shakespeare’s play, makes it his own, and in doing so forces us
to confront our own cruelty.
‘…a downright joyous celebration of theatre.’ The Guardian ★★★★

“The pathway to happiness does not always run smooth!” Side splittingly
funny, and marking a very special 10th production for St. Saviours, it is a
bold and brave move, writing, yet another brand new storyline with some
recognisable characters who pop in during the night!
The Lola Montez Experience
Fri 12th & Sat 13th May | 8pm
Tickets €12
The popular Lola Montez Experience returns,
bringing two nights of Weimar style cabaret
back to the Belltable. MC Myles Breen takes the
audience on a journey through the real life Lola’s travels and travails from
Castle Oliver in Limerick to London and then across Europe - where she
was thrown out of three capitals and briefly ruled Bavaria – before moving
onto the States where she scandalised Broadway, invented burlesque in the
saloons of the wild west and died destitute in Hells Kitchen at the age of 42.
The show brings together a selection of Limerick talent, including members
of Rusangano Family, Windings, the Brad Pitt Light Orchestra,
Delorean Suite and the Irish Chamber Orchestra, plus a handpicked
selection of vocal soloists to voice Lola in all her different incarnations.
