try this. It’s the first book in a new series called Visions,
and it’s about a girl called Jules who keeps seeing the
same horrific recurring vision again and again. Gradually
more and more clues are revealed, and when Jules sees
the face of someone she loves in a body bag, she knows
she has to act and stop her vision from becoming real.

This book has received lots of publicity, and is an
appealing mixture of fantasy, romance and action. The
main character is an 18 year old female assassin doing
time in the salt mines. When she is offered her freedom it
is at a price – she must represent the prince by fighting in
a to-the-death tournament. Little does she know more is
at stake than her life, and that her destiny is about to
unfold . . .
IN LOVE – CORA HARRISON
This book is the sequel to Debutantes, and would suit
those who like historical romance. It’s set in 1924, and
Daisy and Poppy are headed to London for the season.
They know they have to be brilliant debutantes so they can
marry well, but its hard not be distracted by the parties and
fashion of the big city. Will they be able to uphold their
family duty with so much temptation surrounding them?
THE FALL – CLAIRE MERLE
This follows on from The Glimpse, and is set in a future
world where society has been split into Pures and Crazies
according to the results of DNA testing. When Ana
discovers the tests have been faked she escapes her Pure
community and makes it to the protest camp and Cole.

This book has been likened to The Hunger Games and The
Ranger’s Apprentice series. It tells the story of Danika, a

band of teenagers in their quest to find the Magnetic Valley,
a magical spot where the Kings weapons are useless.
Unfortunately Danika destroys a plane during her escape

more complicated, she discovers she has her own magical
abilities.
This is an exciting story of survival, magic and betrayal,
and is the first of three projected books.
GETTING OVER GARRETT DELANEY WITH CALM,
CHARM AND COFFEE BEANS – ABBY MCDONALD
If you like your books with a big helping of humour, you
might want to try this. Sadie has been in love with her best
friend Garrett for years, but you guessed it – he doesn’t
have a clue. When he reveals he has fallen in love with
someone else Sadie decides she needs to come up with the
plan of all plans to get over him.
This book is smart, funny, fast-paced and easy to relate to.
A very enjoyable read.
DIRTY LITTLE SECRET – JENNIFER ECHOLS
Bailey has always wanted to join a band, so when a
gorgeous guy invites her to do just that, she jumps at the
chance. Unfortunately, Bailey doesn’t want to tell anyone.
Her family are already mad at her, and they are paranoid
she is going to mess up her sister’s record company deal.
The thing is, Bailey reckons this might just be what she
really wants, and doesn’t she deserve a chance to find out?
This romantic drama is an easy read with a touch of
humour, perfect for relaxing with!
