Have you been hurt
by someone?
Someone might have
hit you
been rough with you
touched your private parts and you did
not want them to
made you afraid of them
done something else that has made you feel pain
or you might have seen or heard someone else
being hurt.
The person who hurt you can be someone you know
or a stranger.
It might be one person, or a group of people that
hurt you.
How might you feel if
someone has hurt you?
You might be able to see or feel an injury,
for example
bruises or marks
cuts or scratches
parts of your body hurt.
Sometimes you will not be able to see an injury
but someone has still hurt you. For example you
might feel
scared and unhappy
you cannot eat or sleep
you do not want to be near that person
you are scared to tell anyone what happened.
