Establish what TYPE of text you need to produce, who are the AUDIENCE you are writing to, and what PURPOSE your writing needs to have. 2. PLAN your response – get as many ideas down as possible, and think of an order which you will write them in. 3. Write down all the different language features you can remember to ensure you use these throughout your writing.
