Chinese Lantern (Square in a Square)

We will learn how to make the triangle version of the Option 12 Pineapple Block. Pattern calls for 6
blocks but you may adjust your fabric to make one or twelve.
Supplies to make six Pineapple Blocks:

R8 - Original Ruler - Square in a Square
Background: light - 1/2 yard
Five Fat Quarter - one for each of the rounds. Choose 3 lights and 2 darks
Darkest - final round and outer border- 1/2 yard
Inside border - 1/4 yard
Backing - 3/4 yard
Binding - 1/3 yard
Necessary Items: Sewing machine (knowledge of how to use your machine), scissors, pins, thread,
rotary cutters, rulers and any other supplies you use while sewing.
