Crossmodalist Guidelines of Being Chris Lloyd Written December 25th, 2015, in response to despondence. ➢ The Crossmodalist is not an ordinary person. The Crossmodalist feels uncomfortable in the presence of ordinary people, as these people experience only the smallest percentage of life. ➢ Egotism is not a welcome, but necessary trait of the Crossmodalist. This must be balanced with a sense of humility and modesty; our work is for the betterment of civilisation, and not purely self-centered. ➢ A Crossmodalist doesn’t work 9-5. There is no such thing as a ‘job’, as our work is our passion, and our passion gives us the reason for life. ➢ A Crossmodalist as a result, does not long for the weekend, or for Friday afternoons. Every moment in life is worth treasuring, and even in the darkest moments, education, manifestation, realisation can occur. ➢ A Crossmodalist is an incredible person, but this is only instantly realised by a small population. A Crossmodalist must never seek to prove their worth; it is obvious to those that deserve it. ➢ Crossmodalists value that which adds inherent, not superficial value. ➢ Crossmodalists never say no without understanding the yes. Crossmodalists respect the opinions of all people, whilst reserving judgement on others until a full understanding and experience permits a completely educated response. ➢ Crossmodalists understand that hedonistic pleasures have an intrinsic value for day to day pleasure; but also that pleasure for pleasure’s sake is only valuable when not risking the unhappiness of others. ➢ Crossmodalists are not ordinary people. They are extraordinary, and aim to achieve extraordinary things. ➢ Crossmodalists don’t deal in mediocrity, nor do they accept those who settle for it. Crossmodalists believe in self-betterment and education as primary motivators. ➢ A Crossmodalist understands this list is both non-exhaustive, and non-conformative: a Crossmodalist can choose to follow all guidelines, or none; as above all, a Crossmodalist is a unique individual with the freedom of decision. Finally; ➢ The Crossmodalist understands that the above innate qualities of Crossmodalism are inherent in every living person to some degree, and as such, they must embrace the inner Crossmodalist in every encounter and correspondence.
