About Our Summer Sessions...
Summer 2016 Session Calendar
Home-School Unit Study
Session 1 - June 20 - 24
A unit of study about horses for home
schooled students. Mixed ages and abilities.
Practical home animal care, focusing on horses
and other large animals.
Introduction to Ponies: Pony Pals
A sampler program for the very new or very
young rider. Participants must be at least two
years old. Participants are one to one with a
trained helper, while with ponies.
General Horsemanship
Learn all about horses, their care and needs.
What makes horses happy, how to groom and
care for their environment. Learn about riding
Responsibility and big, big FARM FUN!
Full or half day program
Half Day ends at 12:15
Advanced Equine Studies / Show
An adult and youth by invitation only program.
Participants will learn exercises for themselves
and their horses. Topics will include Dressage
and Jumping fundamentals. Youth Riders may
participate in Youth Dressage Festival.
Dates and Times are individually determined.
Therapeutic SPIRIT Weeks
Program for those with special/adaptive
physical or developmental needs.
Care takers or Aides should attend as needed,
orientation will be provided prior.
(Hours are shortened due to Staff ratio needs for this
population.)
**10% discount per week for multiple weeks**
**Participants may do partial weeks for a

Each session of our program runs in two
groups: One for lesser or non-experienced
riders and one for the more accomplished
equestrian.

*Parents may attend the “pony riding recital”
beginning at 12:30 on Fridays. Day program
concludes at the recital’s end.

available, $7 per hour or part thereof as pre
arranged. Discounts available for a set weekly
plan.
