Congratulations to Teacher of the Year
US History Teacher Brenda Nathman
Congratulations to Brenda Nathman who was
nominated by her peers as Teacher of the Year.
She is very involved in school activities by
working Extended Day, sporting events, and
training peers on Canvas.
Nathman always knew she wanted to be a
teacher. After receiving her degree from
Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, she
taught at a private school for three years before
taking time off to start her family. When she
returned to teaching, she taught and coached
at Colleyville Middle School. She remained
there for 13 years before coming to Carroll in
2014.
Her favorite part of teaching is getting to know a new group of students every
year and cannot imagine doing anything else.
In her spare time, Nathman enjoys traveling, scuba diving, snow and water
skiing, watching HGTV, and spending time with her family.
