Message from the Executive Director
Dear Florida PAL:
Thank you for your dedication and passion to serve our youth and community!
The days since my appointment as the Executive Director of PAL have been
busy and informative, but very gratifying! I have experienced and witnessed
firsthand every day the difference PAL is making in the lives of our youth and
that has rejuvenated my passion and desire to serve!
Lt. Lakesha Burton
I am very thankful the Lord has given me a new platform to serve and I don’t
take it for granted. This rejuvenation has been contagious and our PAL team
are excited and have embraced the challenge to “Raise the Bar” at PAL.
In this Region Report, you will see recent highlights of the work Jacksonville PAL has done in the
community. If you have questions or would like more details about anything in this report, please don’t
hesitate to contact me.
Thank you again for your continued support and service to the community.
But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works,
and I will show you my faith by my works.” James 2:18
Sincerely,
Lt. Lakesha Burton
