AN ACT to transfer certain of the functions of the Governor, and for connected
purposes.

Transfer of certain of the Governor’s functions
Schedule 1 shall have effect in relation to the transfer of certain of the functions
of the Governor and to the other matters specified in that Schedule.

Interpretation
(1)
The Interpretation Act 1976 shall apply for the purpose of the
interpretation of any expressions inserted by Schedule 1.

[Inserts section 24A in the Interpretation Act 1976.]
Consequential modifications
Where, by virtue of any amendment made by this Act, any function of the
Governor is transferred to a Board of Tynwald or other body, any pronoun
referring to the Governor shall be modified accordingly.

Saving
Without prejudice to sections 15 and 16 of the said Act of 1976, nothing in this
Act shall affect any public document in force immediately before the
commencement of this Act.
